On Monday Nov 29, while I was in town with my sister, my wonderful 95-year-old best friend, my Mum, did not wake up. She has been declining for a couple of years and I am grateful she is not suffering any more. She was much loved. I will have to redefine myself without her.

Sounded great so i bought it for trip to Mexico….when i landed customs agent said it is illegal to bring into Mexico and threw it right into the garbage. Bye bye $$. Perhaps @AirCanada and @SwitchHealthCA should warn purchasers that some countries will not allow this!

Warning!! I bought these tests for trip to Mexico.Took antigen test to travel thru US and brought PCR test to do on the way home. It is illegal to bring covid tests into Mexico and the customs agent threw it away! Goodbye $$$. Thnx Air Canada.

Have a plan! A lab member felt sick and went for a covid test and informed me. we moved lab meeting that day online and let people know so they could limit contacts until test results were in. we then made a plan together for how to do this. Test negative! But now we have a plan!

Congratulations to my star student Troy @Troy_McD_UBC who successfully defended his PhD yesterday in a defense that was rigorous while being fun and stimulating!! One senior faculty member said it was the best defense he had ever seen!! Very proud of Troy!!

Question for anyone teaching Animal Learning- Sniffy no longer works on newest Mac OS upgrade! That messed up last assignment of term. Planning next year now- do I have to abandon Sniffy? Maybe @PavlovSociety member has a solution?thnx!
