Following confusion over the pronunciation of our county, we're pleased to announce we'll be changing our name to improve international relations.
We'll now be known as Warchestershire to match previous mis-pronunciations.
New signs will be rolled out over the next few months.
The county’s first new station for over a 100 years will open next Sunday, 23rd Feb. It has 500 parking spaces and direct routes to London, Birmingham, Cardiff, Derby and Nottingham.

The second set of bat friendly red street lights have been switched on🦇🚨
It's been found that white LED street lights may interact negatively with bats. It is hoped that red lights will help reduce WCC's energy & carbon consumption, as well as its impacts on the protected bats

Work is now complete on the new path between Diglis Bridge and Duck Brook in Worcester.
The new stone surfaced path, also linking into St Mark’s Close, offers a more direct route on the Severn Way between the bridge, Ketch Roundabout and beyond.

The multi-million pound Worcester City Centre improvements are about to enter a fifth phase.
Phase 5 will see us upgrade the public space on Foregate St including new natural stone paving and the signalised pedestrian crossing.
