The way it was. Aus greasy wool production in millions of pounds & av annual prices in pence per pound. 1880 to 1960. Rabbits kicked in around 1890 & 1895-7 were very dry years.

Vet Bruce Jackson, Tasmania on the impacts of cat-spread Sarcocystis on sheep health & producer access to meat processors. If cats eat Sarco infected meat they spread Sarco wherever they toilet. Spores contaminate water, pasture & stock feed for over 6 months.

Switzerland has passed legislation for banning tail docking completely from Feb 1, 2040. The 15yr transition allows rubber rings in the first 7 days BUT cannot be shorter than 15cm!! Looking into this learnt they have interesting food labelling rules too....
