Mama's been watching news about a funeral home & it's got her thinking she's a horrible human being because she doesn't care about the dead. (Not even minutely.).Maybe there's an "am I terrible?" subreddit. 🤷♀️. She's not terrible to me. She loves dogs and I love her.

She helped me heal when Beans, another heart dog, passed from brain cancer. And she helps me still today as the anniversary of Beans death rolls around soon. And so I thank you, @LolaPatolla for allowing me to be the guardian of this precious heart dog. ❤️

Daisy, my little @RescueCoop rescue is also a heart dog for me. She needs me in a way that overconfident Murphy and independent Molly do not. She was a street dog, so she needs reassurance. She hears me talk or sees me walk away and trots over for a comforting touch.

This will not be my most lauded post, but I commend Wilson County law enforcement for encouraging the owner of this dog to let him go. They are not known for their compassion for animals (see "Wilson 42"). It's a small step toward a better Wilson County for everyone. ❤️🩹.
