Jerome J. Richardson has given the college $150 million for its endowment. It’s the largest gift in the college’s history and has a focus on need-based scholarships and experiences for students.
The newly renovated Burwell Dining Hall is officially open! The building is a multi-level dining facility for the campus community, and it has a state-of-the art kitchen and multiple self service areas.
"Wofford has all the markings of a perfect Cinderella with one major exception: they’re way too good for the distinction. To think of Wofford as such is to admit you haven’t seen them play."

In 2017, the Wofford baseball team visited New York and the National September 11 Monument and Museum. While there, they met a firefighter who was the only one from his station to make it out of the World Trade Center alive.

Recent graduates Jason Hill ’19 and Lincoln Stewart ’17, two teammates from the Terrier football team, partnered again to present “Financial Stability,” a free community workshop at Headquarters Barber Shop in Spartanburg.

Today is Juneteenth, a commemoration of the official end of slavery in the U.S., two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed. It’s a day that many consider our nation’s true Independence Day. Let’s all commit to work toward a more perfect union.
Craig Melvin has heard stories of students across the country turning down internships because they can’t afford to relocate for the summer. He and his wife, Lindsay Czarniak, want to keep that from happening to Wofford Terriers.
The Wofford College Bookstore will hold a grand-opening celebration from 2-5 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 5, at its new home in The Hub. The event will include discounts, FREE food and an appearance by Boss! (A soft opening will be held Saturday, Dec. 3, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
