My 2025 so far OTB:.5 wins 3 losses no draws.vs 2200+: 0/3 (was winning two of them).vs 1900-2100: 5/5 (was losing two of them).Performance: 2233.

Won tonight’s OTB game quickly and smoothly - 21 moves as Black against ECF 2000. Not many key moments but this is the position after White’s move 11, what’s your evaluation and what would you play here as Black?

Grovelling in a much worse position OTB last night, and not finding a good way to defend, I amused myself by finding actively bad ones. My opponent actually played 1.Rxb3 here - if he’d gone for 1.Bb5 instead, can you see what’s wrong with 1…0-0-0?

Quick question - let’s say you play 2 casual rapid OTB games at your local chess club - the next day I ask you whether you can show me the games. What proportion of the moves would you be likely to remember?.
