We’ve tweeted similar below, but the tax changes from 1st August mean the value in your wine bottle is even more differentiated by price. 🇬🇧🍷
This graphic from @ChateauBauduc is fantastic. From 1st August, if you spend £6.50 on a bottle of wine, you are getting 40p's worth of wine and paying £3.75 in tax. At £15, it is £4.40 worth of wine and £5.17 in tax. The balance goes to packaging and distribution. @wstauk #wine
