Kayden completed his first external work experience placement at Tesco! Within the 12 weeks Kayden worked on re facing products, applying reduction stickers to correct items ,replenished the store of all items and much more!

We learnt about all the different jobs & steps there are from collecting the crops right through to the final product that we see on the shelf.We got to taste a variety of M&S potato products.This was a great activity to link with our literacy, focusing on reviewing the products.

Today in Food and Nutrition Protea had a special guest! We met Natasha from Manor Fresh. Manor Fresh work with all the potatoes and a few other vegetables that are found in M&S. Manor Fresh work with different farms in the transportation and packing of the potatoes.

Last Friday, Snapdragon Class enjoyed a visit from @Bakkavor and learned about working in a fruit and vegetable factory - we had to wear the PPE as expected in Bakkavor and also create pots of fruit salad.

Last week, Snapdragon Class spent time learning about pet care and what the job requires when working in such a shop. We were made very welcome and actually took part in stocking the shelves, caring for the pets and serving at the tills. A hands-on day.

and then scanned the stock into the Alltech system. We all learnt very quickly what we needed to do in the different sections of our production line and watched as even the robotic machines made mistakes! It was great fun with all pupils very engaged. Thank you Alltech.

In term 3, I sent a plea out for support to convert our outside classroom area as it was just a piece of concrete with nothing in. Thanks to the support and generosity of lots of our parents and our local community we have now got a wonderful area in which the children will

We were lucky enough to actually touch a starfish in a workshop and watch feeding time for the seals. We saw so many different sea creatures!

Snapdragon Class enjoyed discovering sharks, seals, rays, turtles, penguins, starfish, seahorses and lots of beautiful fish on our visit to the Sea Life Centre in Hunstanton this week.

We all showed amazing listening skills and asked great questions. After this we were ready for the next exciting activity, a trip in the bus wash on a double decker! This was one of the highlights, it was very noisy! After this we enjoyed a bus ride back to school. @delainebuses.

We enjoyed a tour from Anthony who explained to us about machines that used to be used, old uniforms, bus timetables, mechanics, offices and showed us around the old buses! We were very excited to have a look inside these and to find out they are still running! @delainebuses.

This morning Venus Flytrap were very lucky to enjoy a trip on a Delaine bus and to the Delaine Bus Museum!.They picked us up from school and took us to the museum where we learnt the history of Delaine, which goes back over 100 years! @delainebuses
