Hot off the presses: our @SRChildren_ /@utswortho experience with persistent os acetabuli in the setting of severe #hipdysplasia. A great example of a study sparked from discussion during our Monday night conference. Glad to see it published in this month’s issue of @BoneJointJ.
The persistent os acetabulum may unite with the remaining acetabular rim in about half of cases where periacetabular osteotomy corrects the underlying dysplasia. #BJJ #Hip #Patients #Research @SRChildren @utswortho @willmorrismd.

Our study was awarded best clinical paper in the hip symposium, but the highlight was certainly the discussion and perspectives of the other physicians, allied health, and families from groups like @amcsupport. What a unique and collaborative environment!.
