What links architectural ruins and poetry?🏛️✍️ . Just as poets from across the centuries have been inspired by the romanticism of the ancient world’s ruins, fragments & myths, so too was Soane, commissioning contemporary visions of many of his greatest buildings as future ruins!

Sad news. The passing of a boy from Plaistow made good. So many milestones- the erotic sword play scene in Hardy’s Madding crowd, “Kiss my hand” in Superman and the pan desert romp in Priscilla. An icon who could be found in London’s St James’ district until recently- RIP.

This is the Wells Needham derby. My father in law was a lifelong @swfc supporter and he and I watched these fixtures together. Vivid memories of the @TonyCottee9 winner from an impossible angle on Boxing Day. Great to see mutual fam respect on show today.
