25. I Am Spain . An excellent account of what comes across via it's participants as some sort of gap year war; all the usual suspects- Orwell, Cornford, Cockburn, Capa, Taro, Hemingway etc having a jolly old time of it. With nods to the Teesside contingent. No pasarán. ✊

It's about as far removed from country music roots as you can get, but then my Dad- a country music purist- used to say the same about 'hat acts' like Garth Brooks etc in the early 90s.
Convinced that new wave of country music that's popular at the moment is the worst music of all time. Probably evil as well.
