White Nose Syndrome is threatening bats in North America. You can help by reporting dead bats you spot from November 1 to May 31. Remember, a small percentage of bats carry rabies so never handle them with bare hands. Learn more:

Wolves have a tight knit social structure. In this #WildWednesday we get a rare glimpse into a wolf den. When living and recreating in wolf country, it is best to always have your pet on a leash. Wolves are territorial and may see another canid as a potential threat or prey.

Don't let their small size fool you - short-tailed weasels are voracious predators and consume up to 30% of their body weight daily. They primarily eat voles, shrews, rabbits, rats, chipmunks, and other small mammals and will also go after chickens.

In this #WildWednesday, we see how camouflage in animals helps protect them from predators. The snowshoe hare is almost impossible to see against a snowy background, but it is much more visible where there is no snow.
