For the third year in a row, no team played better at the two major standalone fast pitch national tournaments than the Circle City Skullcrushers. The Skullcrushers captured their second NWLAT title in 3 years and ran through the prelims at the WCT.

Black Dog Country Club won the East Coast Wiffle championship, took down the Phenoms in the WCT quarterfinals, and found themselves on the brink of returning to the National/World Championship game for the first time since 2020.

The Ridley Park Longballs finished in 2nd place in MAW for the second year in a row. Although they missed out on the NWLAT for the first time in years, the core of Drecher/Bingnear/Boas had a solid top 16 finish at the WCT in October.

A year after winning the Mid Atlantic Championship for the 3rd time, ERL had a strong season in 2024 which included a relatively easy run of the MAW Wild Card Tournament. The ERL core of Young, Robles, and Lea led the Phenoms to a quarterfinals appearance at the WCT.

These next 3 teams were so close that it would be reasonable for anyone of them to be 5, 6, or 7. The Dragons had a tremendous season with 3 tournament wins across MAW & ECW to go with a 2nd place finish in the MAW regular season, capped off with a top 16 finish at the WCT.

The Mojo had one of the better league records of any team this year, dominating MO WIFF from start to finish. The SWBL Cardinals made it to late Sunday at the NWLAT per usual, with several of Mojo players forming the core of that squad as well.

This veteran franchise played very well all across the country this year. While a championship eluded the Cajuns in '24, they have a great core with Ledet and the Marshall brothers. Ledet also mixed & matched with the remaining roster spots as well as any captain this past year.

The Blue Jays dominated the always ultra-competitive Ridley Park Wiffleball League in 2024. The Jays' core of Farro, Liberio, and Collins also led the Blueballs to a solid return season in MAW & were the only team to beat the Juggs, ERL & Longballs.

Winners of the 27-team 16+ division at MLW Wiffle in the Mitten in August, SoCal had an excellent sophomore season on the national circuit. They've found a great core in Staggs, Hayden, and Behen and are poised for even bigger things in 2025.

At #12 is a young squad w/ major tournament victories in 2024, including their 2nd MLW U17 National title. The Flamingos made their NWLAT debut in '24 where they showed they can more than hang in non-U17 national play w/ their core roster of Adams, Wissman, Hornberger, and Stier.

First up, a team of many names that played in more games than almost any other and found a way to win everywhere they went. Also, the most impressive team of the contender’s bracket round at the World Championship, taking down 2 former champs. Core: Sidorov, Hannon, B. Caladie

At #1 on this year’s Drop 100 is a pitcher who was nearly automatic in 2022, picking up 19 wins to 1 loss. He went undefeated in both elimination games and championship games. To top things off, he hit very well all year along, including a monster NWLA Tournament.

Two championship walk off home runs in one year, a perfect 5-0 national fast pitch pitching record, and strong hitting and pitching everywhere he played, defined the season of the #2 player on this year’s list!

The player at #3 was not just the best fast pitch hitter in the sport in 2022, but he put together an all-time great offensive season. He destroyed opposing pitching in MAW all summer long, was clutch at the NWLAT, and hit lights out at the World Championship.
