The catastrophic mistake is not calling it. I think it’s a silly rule, but it’s a bright-line infraction right out in the open. This underscores how arbitrary NFL officiating is. ‘Immediate regret’ isn’t a valid defense for the player or the official. This league smh
Almost a catastrophic mistake by Hufanga on the 4th & 1 play��� had the ref called this it’s a 15 yard penalty automatic 1st down!! Broncos got away with one as Hufanga caught himself. 😅
