There are no true atheists. All minds know God and are given to know Him.

How can you be a son of the Father if you cannot abide by His nature, Who does good to His enemies and gives them food and shelter? Who prepares green pastures for some and deserts for others? While we where yet still sinners, God loved and died for us.

If you believe that hating sin and loving sinners are splitting hairs, with what do you think of yourselves, who commit such egregious errors and yet love yourself? Jesus says to love thy neighbor as thyself, love will destroy the enemy through God’s universal will to salvation.

Thou seekest glory from that which His glory dost not impart, the heart shut. Silence which once brought humble charity makes God’s light darker than any Tartarus. ἀνάθεμα

The soul looks for pleasure in all the wrong places, inwardly, we realize that we where never happy, only by knowing by debts of sin and suffering can we find true satisfaction. If there is no peace of heart, we cannot even lie to ourselves that we experience profound joy.

In the Cistercian brotherhoods, the past was not discussed, not even known. One did not even know of the other's surname. Yet, besides this, and possibly because of this, there was reached a communion of souls. Divine silence like this is what is beneficial in our daily sins.

Death finds no solace in comfort, we live for a few important blinks of the eyes and then are sent to judgement. Don't comfort or blissfully ignore this reality away, God will take even our most loved ones justly.

You and your loved ones will die one day suddenly, this is what will await us. Do not waste away your precious moments. Prepare yourself for death and loss.
