So proud of our new pub in @PNASNews! We use #accesstheory & machine learning to identify current pathways of seafood access. We argue "the best policies and management approaches will work to support these practices, rather than impose new "solutions" to misunderstood problems".

🚨New pub! Through a 6yr study of 24 wild dolphins and their 3rd order relationships, we describe how alliances are established & maintained through social interactions; advancing our understanding of the co-evolution of social and cognitive complexity among mammals. 🧵.
We have a new paper out in @SpringerANCO led by @whit_friedman on Inter-group alliance dynamics in Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins - you can find the paper here ➡️ Congrats @whit_friedman for a really important piece of work from your PhD 🥳🍾
