Very happy with that one. There won't be many teams who do the double over Sunderland this season, especially now Xhaka's back fit. Hopefully sets us up nicely for this next run of games now. Rest up and then on to Spurs next Sunday. #FFC

Really happy for Jimenez as well. With Muniz back and being able to rotate more now hopefully we can see the best of him in the run in now. Regardless of what else you can say about him, the fact we have an absolute banker from penalties is huge. #FFC

Like I said I wasn't panicking even with the last couple of results, but that result should hopefully settle us down again going into this next run of games we have. #FFC

Obviously with all the injuries and the disruption the 1st Half was pretty much a non event, but bar the stupid defending for their penalty I thought we were very good and solid today at a ground we needed to be. #FFC

Important win that. I've never thought about relegation like I saw some people talking about, but to go to Sunderland and pull a result and performance out like that should give us confidence going into this next run of games. #FFC

Wouldn’t have started Iwobi today. Rather have Cairney or if he isn’t fit enough Reed. Will be a hard game today, players need to be ready for it. #FFC

Like I said we’re through, so can’t be too negative overall. Take the midweek off, rest up and get ready for a hard game next Sunday against Sunderland where we need to play a lot better than we did today. #FFC

Nobody was particularly good but thought Castagne and Iwobi in particular were really poor today. If Cairney isn’t fit I’d rather have Reed next to Berge next week against Sunderland. #FFC

Apart from blowing that chance at the end of the 1st Half I thought Kevin was good today. Thought Bobb grew into the game as well which you’d expect given he was injured. #FFC

Well we didn’t make it easy, but a win is a win and we’re in the draw so can’t really ask for much more. #FFC

Good Muniz and Bobb are starting in terms of getting fitness. Surprised Kusi Asare isn’t involved given he didn’t play for the 21s. It’s a solid team, so just have to do the job now. #FFC

Just have to take it on the chin and move on. Season won't be defined by games like tonight, it'll be defined by games like the run we have leading up to the internationals after Sunderland. In the meantime rest up and get ready for Stoke on Sunday. #FFC

Is what it is though, result wise I don't think anyone would've expected anything else from tonight. Unless Palace score twice we've stayed 12th, so in that sense tonight has panned out better than expected. #FFC

2nd half was more competitive, but realistically that's because City were coasting. I can take losing to City, but make them work for it. Was all just too soft and too easy tonight. #FFC

Think I would've played a 5 back today. Would've had Robinson instead of Sessegnon as well. Realistically there's no pressure on this one though, so let's just see what happens. #FFC

It is what it is though I suppose. Quick turnaround, so rest up, hopefully the players take a really big look at themselves after that 2nd half and then move on to Man City. #FFC

Ultimately it’s games like that which will make the difference at the end of the season as well in-terms of whether we can do anything more than “just” mid-table. Like I said I think today really highlighted why we should’ve signed a centre-mid. #FFC

You genuinely can’t put into words just how bad that 2nd half was. Whole team lost all composure. I’m sure Silva will say something to the effect of “we should’ve scored more in the 1st half” but the performance levels in that 2nd half are inexcusable. #FFC

That 2nd Half is the worst we’ve played since the reverse Everton game. Even before they scored the first we couldn’t string two passes together. #FFC
