I walked away from the @WomenInCogSci panel with lots of hot tips on inclusivity in research & teaching/mentoring. I've compiled a list (+ some increasingly terrible hashtags) but please add more! #CogSci2019

I’ll also be discussing a really exciting technique we are developing to find personalized events from children’s brain data! 🤯.

Our final talk will be from @whartonshumthin, who will discuss children's continuous event models while viewing naturalistic stimuli, demonstrating that children show similar neural ramping effects to adults across events despite their lesser knowledge. 5/5

How do children carve up their worlds into discrete events? If you’d like to geek out about this with @SusanLBenear @samsydco Yu Jin Rah and me, give our @CNSmtg symposium a vote!

Happy to have contributed to some cool work with @finnlandlab and @duncanlabUofT! Events affect memory accessibility differently in adults and kiddos.

Some new work out from the lab--with Jie Ren and Katherine Duncan--about things we've been thinking about for a while now. How do kids carve up their worlds? Does this facilitate the accessibility of (relevant) information?
