Well shopping was awful. Packed with mask deniers and steamed up glasses. I was one of the latter

One of my favourite photos of Search Dog 'Red' @davebob popped up on fb. I took this waiting for our turn to go in the arena at an Emergency Services Day in a local park to do a demonstration on how a Search Dog finds missing people. Bonus photobombing by the Michelin Man

I know where I'd like to stuff the bottles π
Out for a walk yesterday and this - 20+ empty wine bottles stuffed in rabbit/puffin burrows π€―π‘ Donβt know whether residents or visitors, this year, last year or 10 years ago but seriously? Take your bloody bruck home with you! π€¬π€¬π€¬ #dunnachuckbruck

So many questions: Is this normal chicken behaviour? Is it how chicken stock is made? What happens if it sneezes? Is this how kfc works? If it farts will it spin round in circles? (that'd actually be kinda cool to watch) Can eggs drown? And just... Why?

Family to her handler and also part of a family of Search and Rescue teams across the world. Our kindest thoughts and gentle hugs to all who loved, played worked and trained with Jemma and to those saved by her.
Jemma volunteered thousands of hours over her career. She was loved by all, worked, trained and played hard. Her commitment to the SES was admired by all who knew her. She saved lives and had a wonderful life. She will be loved and remembered forever. Rest In Peace Jemma. (2/2)

For reasons I have yet to understand to repair the bog seat me Dad took the bog door off. I've mended the seat but now we can't lift the buggerin' door on to its hinges as me Dads backs gone & I can't manage a door with a dicky arm. None of us can whistle either π

Watching a 1940 Fred Astaire movie and now I want a top hat. Dam, the blokes dressed well back then. Also starring Burgess Meredith who went on to play the original and in my opinion, the best, 'Penguin' in Batman.

Darkest part of it's history was in the 70's when the place was flooded. And as weird folk do me and me Dad took the canoes down and paddled round with a swan for company. The water came to here.. The End

Strange to remember I spent many years maintaining the grounds and lovely to see care is still taken with wild flowers, medicinal plants and herbs planted.

Love looking at the woodwork and seeing the old, new and even newer as they try to preserve the place. Original carpenters chisel marks can still be seen in some places..

Many years ago there was a set of metal stocks. Correct and period but I don't think they were originally for there. There was nothing else around. Just fields They disappeared one night.

The owner, Hugh Ford and descendants lived there for 200 years and became quite wealthy for the time and nothing showed off your wealth like a dovecote and a bloomin' great pineapple in your front yard.
