There's something wrong with the internet if all our businesses are reliant on such a small number of companies. Yet it is entirely possible to avoid yesterday's outages and continue with business as usual whilst everyone else is panicking. Noting our website didn't go down 🤔😉.
I can't help but chuckle what a centralised, dependency ridden mess we've made of the internet after yesterday's outage. When I was studying computer science it was being hailed as an indestructible distributed system that could withstand a nuclear strike.
