I’ve just spent the last hour trying to get WiFi access on my Macbook at London Gatwick via @virginmedia. It works on my iPhone but my Mac can’t get a connection because of no DNS? The website is unhelpful and the AI bot equally so. How does a weary traveler get help?.

After several @metronetfiber outages today, I ran comparison tests between Spectrum and Metronet. I’m getting 1/10 of my money’s worth with Metronet and all of my money’s worth with @GetSpectrum. Might have to cancel Metronet.

I should note: I have 2FA and Face ID on my phone and I immediately changed my password. I always use secure and complex passwords. My device is with me 24/7. From what I can tell, the only weak link in my security chain happened the day I walked into the Apple Store.

Yesterday, I went to @Apple’s Genius Bar to have my battery changed in my phone. Less than 25 hours later I got this. First time ever for this. Too much of a “coincidence”. Either security is totally lax or someone is compromising Apple employees for some kind of reward.
