Shōsuke Ishizu, "Take Ivy" author, son of VAN Jacket founder Kensuke Ishizu, and part of the core group who brought Ivy League fashion to Japan at Men's Club and then VAN, has passed away at 88.

At left: Here is him (center) with Toshiyuki Kurosu in the early 1960s as VAN planned out their Ivy League-styled collections. At right: He also appeared in early issues of Men's Club quite a bit as a model.
