October 24, 2021, the day I uploaded my first solo Beatle ranking. Four years later, and I’ve officially completed all four rankings. These videos are the tent poles of my channel and I’m proud of how much joy they’ve given people over the years. Now, on to what comes next…

I couldn’t find anywhere to put this in the Ringo video but I still feel the need to share it. It’s Larry King interviewing Starr around his 68th birthday.

It IS cringey millennial 3rd grade writing when compared to ‘Espresso’ & ‘Hot to Go’ because those songs are actual pop juggernauts that shaped the industry last year. Taylor had the chance to challenge these newcomers and instead she’s floundering in word salad and dull hooks.

Okay, I’ll weigh in… 2024 was such a bountiful year for truly great *POP* music and I think people are now listening to the new Taylor with a more critical ear because we’ve got many recent examples of how *good* pop can truly be and something like TLOAS is just not holding up.
when it’s “that’s that me espresso” and “you can take me hot to go” it’s fun silly pop music! but when it’s taylor swift it’s cringey millennial 3rd grade writing ok got it.
