I just think we should take this into account as we look towards the 2028 biopics. Sure, these movies *might* be pure ass but I don’t think the reason for that will be because they didn’t cast look-a-likes. I remain open-minded.

To my estimation the most well-regarded Beatles biopic (or Beatles-adjacent) is probably Two Of Us. Beloved for its writing, intimacy, & chemistry of the men playing John & Paul. But if Twitter was around in 2000 could you imagine the reaction to this casting of Lennon/McCartney?

It’s hard to put into words what Brian Wilson’s music has meant to me over the years. My first listen to Pet Sounds was the closest thing I can describe to a spiritual experience. I felt so lucky seeing him and his band perform the album live in 2016. (1/3)
