9/ 2024 🧱. Then came @UnitsNetwork. A trustless, fully interoperable L2 that connects the entire Waves ecosystem. Basically, the grown-up infrastructure everyone pretends to have but Waves actually shipped. A new layer. A new era.

8/ 2023 🧠. A quiet year on the surface, but restructuring and deeper ecosystem planning was underway behind the scenes.

7/ 2022 🔝. WAVES hit an all-time high of $50 in April. @PWRDAO was introduced, the first goal-based governance model designed to enable community-led decision-making.

6/ 2021 🚀. Was a BIG year:. 🔹 WX token IDO raised $50M in 29 hours.🔹 @wavesducks launched a P2E NFT game that later evolved into a metaverse.🔹 @puzzle_network went live.🔹 TVL crossed $1B+. Waves was entering its DeFi era.

5/ 2020 🔄. @Swopfi arrived an AMM combining different types of liquidity pools. Waves quietly built the tools that would later shape its DeFi layer.

4/ 2019💲. Waves introduced Neutrino (USDN) the first non-overcollateralized stablecoin protocol. We also launched a dynamic monetary policy where nodes could influence block rewards pushing deeper into decentralization.

3/ 2018 💻. Then came Ride. Smart contracts without gas fees? In 2018?. Let’s just say Waves was doing “user-friendly” before it was cool. Also, over 4,000 tokens launched on the platform around then. Waves wasn’t just riding trends, we were setting them 👏.

2/ 2017 📊. Waves launched its own DEX one of the first in the space. It stood out for its speed and user experience in an unstable DeFi world.

1/ 2016 🌄. Back in 2016, Waves raised $30M in BTC….Not bad for pre-DeFi times….One of the biggest ICOs back then. No VCs, no hype machines, just crypto crowd power. Then came the mainnet. And the real ones started building.
