The international community needs to realize this is not only an internal problem for Syria.Religious persecution rooted in extremist intolerance spreads across borders, fills power vacuums and results in mass displacement . This becomes a problem for many countries.
"Christianity in #Syria risks becoming a memory, its ancient churches left as hollow monuments in a country that once helped carry the faith to the world.". Powerful words from @KelseyZorzi on protecting all from persecution-not just for their sake but for peace.

This is a powerful plea to the international community in the wake of the recent church attack in Damascus. Statements of condemnation are not enough. Time to take action!.
The West Claims to Champion the Persecuted. Middle Eastern Christians Prove Otherwise!.In January, ADFA and all the Patriarchs of the Churches in Syria warned of looming attacks. Now a church has been attacked: 25 dead, 60 injured. Christians, Alawites, Shiites, and other

A Demand for Action's call to action becomes more relevant than ever in light of the church massacre in Damascus on June 22.The new constitution must be democratic, reject ethnoreligious persecution, and protect ethnic, religious, and indigenous rights.
A Demand For Action Welcomes U.S. Syria Sanctions Lift – Equal Rights Demands Must Follow. On May 13, 2025, President Donald Trump announced the lifting of all U.S. sanctions against Syria during his speech at the Saudi-US Investment Forum in Riyadh, following discussions with

Syria's Christians are suspended between hope and fear for their future. The international community needs to ensure all minorities have the same rights and freedoms as the majority.
✝️🛡️☦️: Syrian Christians can count on Hungary. @HungaryHelps have been closely monitoring developments in Syria, particularly the situation of Christians. We’ve been receiving both troubling & hopeful news. (🧵1/4. More in this thread: new project announcements ⤵️)
