Here is the story of Steven Brophy’s escape from Fort Henry. Quizzical that the Brophy’s ended up on Brophy’s Point Wolfe Island just across river from Fort Henry. Although don’t believe Steven ever returned. Joined Wild Bill’s circus.

Fort Henry sits above Kingston, Lake Ontario and Cataraqui River - built to protect our border over 200 years ago. One of my Brophy relatives was one of the few to escape its walls.
