The SHIB tx replaced this dropped tx https://t.co/WAeBFPFtRk. Simulating the dropped tx in @TenderlyApp shows that the Exploiter attempted to withdraw the renBTC before the SHIB

Actually, my initial assumption is feasible. The SHIB tx took about 3 minutes to confirm, so it could have been sent just before the BSC O3 tx.

I initially assumed that they simply forgot to change back accounts in their wallet. But it might not be that straightforward as the ETH mainnet SHIB withdrawal was mined within those four minutes

This is awesome. Most of my understanding of CFMMs is derived from digging into the work of @angeris @tarunchitra @alexhevans and friends. I'd highly recommend anyone with an interest in CFMM mechanics to read this and their other works
