We told you: It’s airborne Herd immunity won’t work Vaccines alone won’t solve this Now we are telling you: Endemicity is not the way out You need to address Long COVID You need to eliminate it We don’t have the time to wait for your “strategies” to fail. Again.

We cannot give up without fighting a good fight - we still got a good chance albeit late. Together, human race will win this, but time and actions are essence. @tomaspueyo

A new research provides systematic evidence that luck plays a critical role in huge successes in business; more can be gained by paying more attention to “second best”.

Ignore business books which promise to reveal the secret formula of success – usually it’s down to luck.

This week, 40 billion tons of ice will melt in Greenland as the European heat wave moves north -- enough to measurably raise global sea levels. This single heat wave will create a permanent change in our oceans that will linger for millennia. We are in a climate emergency.
A heat wave is starting tomorrow over Greenland with Tmax reaching 25°C in tundra. The integrated anomaly of melt over the next 5 days (resp. over Summer 2019) will be 40Gt ~0.11mm (resp. ~0.65mm) sea level equivalent. Summer 2019 = what the models project for 2050 using RCP85.

It's gross seeing so many root against Tesla. Be the person on the side of the climate and innovation, not the person hoping to make money on puts. Also, betting against Elon is historically a mistake...and the best product usually wins.

We are in an uncharted territory.
This is the first time in human history our planet's atmosphere has had more than 415ppm CO2. Not just in recorded history, not just since the invention of agriculture 10,000 years ago. Since before modern humans existed millions of years ago. We don't know a planet like this.

Mistyped GitHub website with a typo after coming from GitLab, I landed on a decoyed site with a LetsEncrypt cert and a French IP address. https://t.co/zaEVBQo3Iq
@github did you know? Is that your domain?

The whole problem of CSV/TSV text format delimiter parsing caveats was solved in a standard by design in the 1960s, called #ASCII character set.

ASCII delimited text solves the problems exporting and importing structured text files and is part of the design of the character set. Unfortunately a lot of people and systems use CSV and other pr…
