10 years ago today. I arrived back in California after months in the hospital in Omaha. I had received my new liver, and spent months in various therapies before I was ready to go home. This is the day I began the long , arduous task of completely relearning the guitar again.

I would play and wonder if I should stop. He would get up in my ear and say " GO, GO " ! He pushed me to my limits on this song and it's something I remain very proud of. It is an awesome memory for me of that day in the studio with the incredible genius - John Mayall.

Of all the music I recorded with him this song is my favorite. We did it live in the studio. I wasn't sure how long I should play the solo. John was playing an electric 12 string and standing next to me. (2 of 3)
