Hello, world. Something to show you. A teaser trailer for The Rash, a script I wrote this year for Onset Creative & Nicole Shanahan. The feature film is now in the financing phase. Interested investors may contact me by X DM for more info. Enjoy. I think you'll get the picture.

Watch @AmericaWeek with @Mtaibbi tomorrow. Taped early this AM. I knew nothing about the guy except what Matt showed me in a couple of clips. I saw a raw op in this guy, in the tattoo kerfuffle, & I said so, describing how I thought it worked, intentions etc. Now I see this. Ha!
That the Nazi Tattoo low-key communist Democrat candidate guy cosplaying as a working-class Maine oysterman or whatever went to boarding school costing $75K a year is very funny, no?

Best recent moment on news TV was Bernie calling the Maine Senate candidate's "Nazi tattoo" a silly distraction from the big issues. This from the guy who held up pics of allegedly "anti vax"" baby clothes at the RFK Jr hearing & thundered: "Do you support these onesies?" Actor.

Just like all the record company honchos called their underlings together in the late 60s & said, "Get us our own Bob Dylan" the Dem political consultancies have convened to get the party its own Trump. Now we'll have a stream of them. "A little rough around the edges." Etc

The "Nazi tattoo" thing with that Senate candidate os one of the most contrived, premeditated political branding tricksI've ever seen -- an excuse for a man of the people-style candidate to talk endlessly about being a combat marine who had some dark times, sure, and sometimes I

It’s articles like this one that made me a fan of Matt’s writing so many years ago. Skipping one fancy coffee a month gives you full access to all of his brilliant writing and commentary with the equally gifted linguist @walterkirn. It’s worth every penny and more.

That's only 20% of GOP Senators they spied on. What was the hold up? Why not all? And everyone they knew. And everyone those people knew. Such self-restraint! No wonder the D party is so grumpy. A little more fancy domestic espionage & it could have had it all. Next time.
NEW: Sen. Ted Cruz's phone records were subpoenaed as part of then-special counsel Jack Smith's investigations into Trump The disclosure makes Cruz the ninth known GOP senator for whom the Justice Department sought phone records

Peter Thiel sparked outrage by paying teens $100K to ditch college and launch startups. 1517 Fund emerged from the Thiel Fellowship: Its founders -- @DStrachman and @William_Blake -- are still betting on teens to outbuild Ivy league graduates.

"Was journalism always like this?" some appalled onlooker asked me moments ago. I responded with this, a short but not that short history of deviltry: "Read Twain from his gold rush days as a territorial reporter in Nevada. journalism started out as scurrilous and deceptive and

Welcome back after your bad fall, Matt. We were all pretty worried. Even the trolls were worried. They were missing one of their favorite targets for innuendo, cheap shots, and incoherent abuse. Everyone's much happier now. Your friends especially.

I asked fans of @AmericaWeek to do an AI rendering, based on Hunter S Thompson's words, of the sad, disheviled, aftermath hotel room in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, which @mtaibbi and I just finished discussing today. Came out wonderfully. Haunting.

The role of artists is to correct for the oversocialization of most people & their perceptions. We go to to art to counter that over socialized consciousness. It's one reason we like to read stories about the arctic, war, ocean voyages. To escape the buzzing and the fakery.

Proud to see @DrBeaVillarroel’s paper pass peer review. How do we interpret the detection of objects around Earth prior to humans first steps into space? What are they? Are they still here? Where else can we find pockets of data to provide answers?
Wonderful news. 🌟💫✨ Our two new VASCO papers are now peer-reviewed, accepted and published — and they reveal some extraordinary things: - We find statistically significant correlations between short-lived transients on pre-Sputnik sky plates, UFO sightings, and above-ground

We promised you great American books with no sensitivity readers or woke corporate bullshit. They said that no one reads literary books, which is why the books they publish go unread. They were wrong (raves below). Subscribe now: https://t.co/p9MANQvlCd
