Na Atenas de Aristóteles, o sorteio era uma solução prática e igualitária para a política. Limitados pela escala e pela logística, os antigos criaram um instrumento que ainda hoje nos interpela, o kleroterion: 👇 https://t.co/nwobxSmILw

Pebble is officially back on iOS and Android! Download it now, works with all old and new Pebbles. Incredible that everything's still working just as well as before. Can you say that about any other tech product you bought 13 years ago?? https://t.co/6QwIMKkRDg

Rudimentary API We’re not excited at all to announce a very basic, barely useful API! You can find the full reference here: https://t.co/wOs3uh2lfd. We’re making it this small on purpose: we have no idea what you actually want to build with an API, and developing it any further

I've migrated my @CirclesUBI profile to the new platform, @aboutcircles. I need to rebuild my trust network, so if you're a user too and would be willing to trust my personal currency, here's my profile: https://t.co/hqOyQG0e2j
Introducing Circles — an ambitious experiment on money. For the first time ever, you can create your own money without needing a bank or a government. 🧵

2024 update: https://t.co/bx50BfKeOH This will be the final update, as I have now moved from TeuxDeux to Timestripe. See the full thread for context:
After almost exactly 15 years of using @teuxdeux to manage my daily tasks, I have decided to move to @timestripe for my task and project management needs. I've used teuxdeux pretty much every single day since 2009, logging nearly 100,000 tasks in total. Here's why I'm switching:

Update: here are my final statistics: +96,000 todo entries, over 15 years, with a recent average of 10,000 entries per year. For comparison, see my previous stats post: https://t.co/4Ih4iAJbAf
I've just performed the periodic backup of my @teuxdeux data onto a Google Sheet, and took the opportunity to extract some stats. I've been using it to plan my days (and log my activity) for 13 years straight. I think it's fair to say I'm a full-on addict at this point! 😅🤓

The interface, despite having a lot more functions, is almost as clean as TeuxDeux, 😍 and the Android app feels actually native and works well, even offline! So yeah, I'm diving in. Wish me luck. So long, @teuxdeux, and thanks for all the fish! ❤️

The ability to define goals/tasks at any time "horizon" —from day, to week, to month, year, even life—, defining arbitrary levels of nested subgoals (I've been spoiled by @WorkFlowy 🙈), and thus connecting everything from life goals to specific projects, to daily tasks... I'm 🤯

I've spent about two weeks obsessively evaluating dozens of todo/planner apps. (Thanks @Simpletivity and @toolfinderHQ for the informative and insightful reviews!) For some reason, @timestripe simply clicked immediately. I couldn't believe I hadn't heard about it before.

I can't group tasks into projects; or select multiple tasks; or reschedule them to the next weekend (or any arbitrary date) without jumping through hoops. I can't add items in the middle of a list. None of these are needed for lightweight use, and that's where TeuxDeux excels.

Sure, you'll say that I am overloading my days with too much stuff. But I can't function without breaking down tasks into granular units and doing regular mind sweeps. I rely on TeuxDeux for that, and it's clear that such meticulous use isn't what it's made for.

My Someday lists require several screenfuls of scrolling, and I've filled two pages of them. I essentially use the app as an archive of everything I have done every day for the past 15 years. I've even used custom CSS and a vertical monitor to handle the size of my lists.
