In these chaotic times, I'm proud to to say that my game (released in June 2025) is 100% human-made. Every single animation and asset was made by me and some assistance by friends and music is made by my Dad. I will continue to create experiences with my own hands, fuck ai.

This is basically the equivalent of using AI as a search engine, search engines are already close to neural networks in a sense. Except they're worse because they're enshittified by company deals that weight the results. AI is very good at doing obnoxious manual work, NOT ART.

I've seen people argue in the community notes that "using GenAI for reference is still unethical because GenAI plagiarises". Yes it fucking does, but 99% of artists are gonna google their references. Do 99% of artists plagiarise? I hate AI's guts like the next guy but please
Holy fuck guys we’re not "pushing hard" for or replacing concept artists with AI. We have a team of 72 artists of which 23 are concept artists and we are hiring more. The art they create is original and I’m very proud of what they do. I was asked explicitly about concept art
