I know all the old cranky guys will hate me for this but I gotta say to the kids that broke the street and made some bank: Good for you and now go rage! Love seeing this!!
$GME, $NOK $AMC. Folks when brokerage firms get nervous they close the gates on something fast. Their clearing firms will shut down or even do a stock chill in the old days. Cover your ass is their business model😉
Trading is a business, in business you have expenses. In trading these are losses. It's a part of the business. If you owned a doughnut shop would you get upset paying for flour? Ok so now don't take the flour and dump it all over the floor. Manage your business properly.
It's been 10 years to the day that I had a massive heart attack, died, and came back. Grateful for every day and grateful to have met some wonderful people along the way. Much love folks have a wonderful night!🙏
$GME I have been a specialist in orchestrating both short squeezes and also numerous bear raids in my career. I have seen everything including a geologist "falling" out of a helicopter. Never have heard of a short ladder, be careful about the bs going around folks.
When I worked in the business, the owners of the brokerage firms would short the deals of their own brokers. Then force the brokers to sell out those accounts and cover their shorts. This is how they built their fortunes 😏
12 years ago today, I died and was brought back to life. I changed everything in my life, and it's been an amazing 12 years. Thank you all for following me and interacting! Met some great friends here. Have a wonderful weekend everyone!🙏
A heartfelt thank you to all my friends in the
@Microefutures
community for the support and kind words I have received for my mother's passing. I really appreciate you all and really value your friendship🙏
Ten years ago, I lay on my deathbed, broken in every way a man could be. Because of the kindness of friends and strangers, I was able to rebuild my life. Never give up my brothers and sisters! Kick at the darkness until it bleeds daylight!!. Those who are going through the
To my brother big Paulie, I will always remember the laughs, the deals, the adventures we had. All the crazy characters we dealt with. In this business that eats people alive, you always looked out for me. May you rest in peace dear brother🙏
Wow now that the transactions are cleared and the money is wired out let's investigate. Good to see some things never change

Confessions of a Market maker:
Day trading is hand-to-hand combat don't ever forget it Don't ever turn your back on this market it will eat you alive. Keep your risk tight, stick and move don't go toe to toe with size, and be easy on yourself stops are a business expense👊
This is the longest I have ever been away from the screens for decades. One thing I've noticed is how your mind starts to relax and how trading, deals, etc. become more clear when we step away. I will do this more often 🙏
Market Maker Confessions:
When I worked at a brokerage firm, our owner knew where every penny was. If you believe that SBF "does not know where the $ is" I got some oceanfront property in Saskatchewan to sell you😉🤣
Wishing all my friends a very merry Christmas!!! I'm off for a bit so no charts. First 2 weeks off since 1995 xmas🤣 l am truly grateful to all of you for making this year very special 🙏 Much love to everyone!!!
Never trust a surgeon who has not even taken basic anatomy. Have you ever seen 3 easy setups for brain surgery? Think about it. Trading is a skill learned over time which requires a basic understanding of at least what a market is. Educate yourself every day and don't stop.
Market Maker Confessions:
Remember liquidity is built to enable large holders to distribute (sell) their products (positions). Taking price higher is advertising. It brings buyers into a market. The ones who create and control order flow are the insiders, not market makers.😉
Market Maker confessions:
Often we move a market higher just to sell our inventory. This is not real buying. When we are done we pull the bid, buy it all back and do it again. 😉
After all, is said and done I am grateful to have someone to love after the bell rings and the market closes. No matter what happens in the market never forget that it's just business and appreciate those who love you. Have a great weekend everyone, much love!
A trader like a surfer must first prepare before jumping into the ocean, sit for a while, and contemplate the tide. Watch the currents and see how other surfers fare under the prevailing conditions. Be aware of the conditions you speculate in, don't try and outthink the ocean😉
Markets are created to sell into. Liquidity is created in order to sell large amounts of stock into a market, while not scaring away new retail. This is an art form. The market is not a charity. There is an agenda to all this. Govern yourselves accordingly.
Market maker Confessions:
When someone says they are never selling a stock, they are backdooring it into YOUR buying. They sell quietly. How do I know? I was the trader selling their SIZE into buying they created by saying they will never sell😉
Market maker confessions
At the open, we take your money.
Later in the day we take your stock
At the end of the day, we have all your money and your stock😉
Market Maker Confessions:
Market makers don't hold stocks down, they have a large sell order from someone who is liquidating from a long position. They just trade order flow, they do not CREATE the orders. This is done by early-stage investors cashing out into YOUR buying😉
Trading is a business. Would you want a surgeon who got tilted and ranted and freaked out? Learn the business, and give it the respect it deserves. Be a PRO, learn the craft, learn why order flow is created. There are agendas that create order flow. Hope this helps.
Just found out one of my old clients is sick, when I was down and out he drove me to work every day and gave me advice on how to rebuild myself. I will always be grateful and remember the hand that reached out when I was down and pulled me back up. 🙏
Good morning everyone! I will be doing a video to help you short sellers that hopefully help you get better timing and trade location. Been seeing my friends getting crushed lately so stay tuned!
Market Maker Confessions:
After being in this business 30 years I have seen large and small firms collapse. That is why we spread out our accounts and always wire money out of brokerage firms biweekly or monthly. Don't feed the ghouls!
I am very grateful to everyone. Spent the night at Royal University hospital in Liverpool. The staff here are absolutely amazing ,got me sorted out and will be going back home today 🙏
When you are looking at trading equities go look at the float. There is a mechanics to order flow that have to do with supply. I know this because I used to be the guy who controlled supply. If something has a float of half a billion shares it's going to be hard to move!
Market maker confessions:
"0 cost paper always finds the bid."
Meaning if a company is giving away stock to consultants they will sell it immediately as they paid 0 for it. If you ever see a stock that can never go up look for an S8 filing😉
Retail traders do have one of the toughest jobs in this industry. You have to be your own credit/compliance officer, your own head trader, and the owner of the firm. There is no support system or checks and balances. Take time to develop these areas of YOUR business folks!
Trading is a business, your trades are business decisions. Our trade setup is based on a function of that business. Make smart business decisions. A pattern on a chart reflects the underlying business transactions that are occurring in the marketplace.
Wasn't feeling well this afternoon in the room. The outpouring of concern humbles me. So grateful. If not for the kindness of strangers I would not be alive today.
Much love everyone🙏♥️

Well we found the bid before that 3655. I'm off next week, the first week off since 1995 so have a great week and trade safe through month end, everyone!
Market Maker Confessions:
Only short when you see sellers. If no sellers are around, there is no reason to short. UNLESS you have the CAPITAL and TIME and SKILL to hang out until sellers show up!
Thank God I was raised in the sewers of the penny stock market, at the epicenter of greed. This price action actually feels normal to some of us. No wonder there's only a handful of us still alive 🤣🤣🤣🤣
$GME now that you folks are shareholders, make sure you hold the management accountable. Watch how they spend money. Are they fiscally responsible or buying shower curtains for 6 grand on your dime? You guys started something, carry it through!
$GME this morning, every time I draw targets, the thing hits em. Expect some shenanigans from your broker. Remember folks they self-regulate and protect their own.
Lost my cool today, was unprofessional, hurt a brother by lashing out. Money means nothing if you hurt those around you. This week while great financially sucked as I wasn't a good person. I'll keep trying though.
Market clearing facts: Did you know?
Cede & Co technically owns nearly all of the publicly issued stock in the United States. Private investors don’t own the stock they think they own, but rather have contractual rights that are part of a complex chain of rights end up at Cede
Market Maker Confessions:
We used to say, "We eat stress for breakfast! "
To comment about being stressed was forbidden. 30 years and a heart attack at 44, dying and a quintuple bypass. I am rethinking this whole vacation thing.🤣🤣
My fellow traders, please look after
$AAPL Not to be a finsky but even I can figure out that you can't move a stock with 16.98 billion shares in a float 3.4% on 113 million shares of volume. If this doesn't tell you paper is warehoused and there is no supply not sure what will.😉
Next trend day/short squeeze I'm taking the day off from teaching, got frickin chest pains from trying to keep stubborn people from losing money🤣🤣🤣 Have a great night folks!

Anatomy of a liquidation. This does 2 things:
1. trapped longs to get out into the hands of wholesale
2. It gets dumb money shorts trapped under the prev day's low they think the market is going lower because they don't understand the BUSINESS of inventory adjustments
Market maker confessions:
I once had a client who would finance a company and then short the stock into oblivion. He would take NQ deals from 30 bucks to the sub pennies. We called him the Antichrist. This week those types picked the wrong banana to peel🤣
Market Maker Confessions:
When people cry about price manipulation yet the company is issuing millions of shares of cheap stock(dilution). The only thing being manipulated is the retail investor. Trading is one thing. If you are going to be a shareholder READ THE FILINGS!!
Market Maker Confessions:
Since the dawn of markets, insiders have been blaming others while secretly dumping cheap stock into markets. Remember the market is an EXIT mechanism for early investors, if they sell relentlessly then no amount of buying overcomes limitless supply.

@Microefutures
A look at how the market closed yesterday and why it's higher in the overnight session. This helps traders who hold not get short in the hole as yesterday's liquidation was absorbed, marked up and now being sold for PROFIT by size
Remember folks when a company goes public its an EXIT strategy for those who took an economic risk by funding early. Their AGENDA is to get the price up as much as possible. Even in the aftermarket, the higher price goes, the more demand is created. Then you introduce supply.

@microefutures
How balance helps retail traders find opportunity and manage risk. Hope this helps. We also can use this method for larger timeframes and sizes.
As a surfer respects the power of the ocean so must we respect the power of the market. If you don't show this respect and learn when to sit out the market will take you out to the woodshed and give you a beating. Trading is a skill learned over time. Respect your capital.
