Wow. I am honoured that the #ML-based analytical method I worked extremely hard on to design, implement and publish is being extensively used in such a nice and interesting article!. Definitively worth a good read! (and I hope I didn't kill anyone with my #Python API).

I published my 3 last papers w/o any funding, just a computer + my free time. Some PI I worked with called these papers useless, quoting "they are not even nice science". None of them barely published in the last years. They have a position, I don't. #postdoclife I presume(?).

Following a "problem" with a physical hard drive, I need to transfer 10TB from a server in France to an external HDD here in London. Based on our calculations, yes: we actually found it faster to buy a HDD in France, copy everything there, then ship it to UK.
