If you actually had watched Toei Spider-Man, you would know you're wrong. Toei Spider-Man is closer to any tokusatsu hero before and after its airing than any version of Spider-Man will ever be. Stop throwing around fake pieces of information as "you didn't know" trivia.

But keep it alive for what ? How can you stress that Power Rangers is fully part of the history of tokusatsu while at the same time make do with comic books and mediocre video games ? Tokusatsu IS and can only be live action. Isn't what they liked in the first place?

What I get from all this discourse is that the loudest people don't care about the tokusatsu aspect of this brand. The craft of explosions, the battle choreography, the miniature settings ? Naaah. They'll consume whatever is stamped PR, to keep the brand alive.
If You look at this image below what we have here is “Power Rangers”. Now to the chronically online fans yes you know 30 different versions of the colored spandex. But for the general audience (The ones actually keeping the brand alive) . They recognize these suits as Power
