Oculus was such a strong brand. Over the years it became synonymous with VR. People referred to their headsets as ‘the Oculus’. With the Meta rebrand, as it stands they’ve become synonymous with an industry buzzword with little substance. RIP Oculus 🥲

If you make VR game capture easy, the bigger content creators are more likely to cover it. Jack hasn't uploaded a VR video in 2 years, never once used the Quest 2. Why? Probably because it was way too much hassle. Weird 1:1 output, audio desync, corrupted files etc

I’ve not had much luck lately! Friday evening I was taken into hospital with stomach pains. Turns out I had appendicitis. My appendix was removed on Sunday and now I’m in recovery. VR videos and travel plans have been postponed. Hopefully I’ll be home and back on form soon 🤞🏻

Yesterday, I was asked a great question. Does PSVR 2 support 3D Blu Ray in cinematic mode? I mean, it would make perfect sense as 3D movies look great in VR. I skipped into town and picked up Dredd 3D to test it out. Sadly, no 3D effect. Seems like a missed opportunity here?

I can confirm the Vive Facial Tracker does work with the Valve Index when using a USB C adapter! You just have to be a bit creative with some double sided foam tape to mount it🛠️👍

Seeing comments like this is worrying. I love PSVR 2 but Sony have done nothing to explain to newcomers that jumping straight into something like RE8 VR isn’t a good idea. No comfort ratings on the store and no curated list of high quality comfortable content for beginners 🤦🏻♂️
