At @codingal, we’ve fully embraced an AI-first engineering workflow - and it’s transformed how we build. Here’s how we ship faster with tools like Devin and Claude Code:. 1️⃣ Every Linear task starts with a detailed technical description - engineering design doc for task.

💻777 code commits this year - and yes, I’m the CEO 🙂. AI-assisted coding (shoutout to Claude Code) has made it easier than ever to go from idea → product. We don’t just teach AI & coding to kids at @codingal - we live it. Now profitable & growing fast. Stay tuned 🚀

The mindset we used at to just keep growing. Whenever it felt like we were stuck, we found new ways! And we will continue to do that, whatever it takes.

One of the most important things I've learned from 20 years of talking to startups at Y Combinator is how few local maximums there are. Founders can just put their heads down and focus on growth, without more than a few months' lookahead, and they'll almost always do well.

For many founders, highlight of 2024 was executing in Founder Mode. Many interpreted it in different ways, but smart founders knew what they had to do, or what they were doing already was explained by “Founder Mode”.

Building a startup feels like fighting a war on N different fronts at the same time!. They are always very specific in nature, e.g. lowering the transaction costs, reducing marketing expenses while ensuring leads continue to grow, reducing the expenses, optimizing servers &.

When I graduated with my computer engineering degree I went to Gap and wanted a job that could let me code and design clothes. They laughed at me and told me to go work in IT. I went to an ad agency and said I wanted to work on creative and they said haha there is no role for.

"Founder Mode" brought back a flood of memories from my first startup. I went through a challenging time, being gaslit at all levels by people I trusted, leading to the painful realization that some believed the startup could thrive without its founders. In my naivety, I accepted.
