With heavy rainfall still predicted and road condition in many districts still a matter of concern, i would like to request all vehicle owners and drivers to ensure more caution while driving. Please dont indulge in adventure wherever there is water or damaged roads. Avoid hills.

People should adhere to the advisory issued and travel only very necessary.
Traffic update at 0900 hrs .•Traffic is plying on Jammu-Srinagar NHW as per advisory. However, movement of HMVs (load carrier) is stopped from Qazigund & Lakhanpur towards Jammu in view of heavy flow of water in the Sahar Khad, near Kalibari, Kathua. Weather rainy on whole NHW.

JK Govt owned SRTC has introduced free bus service for Machail Matta Yatries upto Jammu. ARTO Kishtwar @TasleemwaniJKAS along with SRTC officals are monitoring & ensuring hassle free transportation of the traumatised Yatries back to their homes @satishsharmajnk @vishesh_jk
