Never imagined that when I was diving into the IP = PSPACE result and studying the sum-check protocol back in 2013, it would become a cornerstone of modern cryptographic proof systems like zk-SNARKs. Amazing how theoretical tools can evolve to transform real-world applications!

Finally, none of this would have been possible without the support of my family and friends, especially my parents, my sister Shravani, and Vineet.

*when the villain in the movie has a PhD* Viewers without a PhD: Ah, they are just saying he’s a smart villain. Makes sense. Viewers with a PhD: Ah, grad school and academia drove him to madness. Makes sense.

A common point raised by ML reviewers is that a method is too simple or is made of existing parts. But simplicity is a strength, not a weakness. People are much more likely to adopt simple methods, and simple ones are also typically more interpretable and intuitive. 1/2
