I’ve been trying to learn how to play chess for a little over a year and I’m still not very good. As this photo will attest, things looked bleak in a recent game, but @GothamChess’s NEVER RESIGN advice for new players in HOW TO WIN AT CHESS was spot on. I earned a checkmate win.
