I'm really a big fan of Jack Antonoff, and I can't help but wonder how the album would've sounded if heโs part of the project. I miss the bridges that used to have that emotional, yearning build-up. But maybe that's not the point this time.
we were promised a glimpse inside the life of a showgirl, but got the leftovers of someone clinging to the stage and doing the same tired show over and over again... if this album was even half as good as it was advertised, itโd be something worth listening to, but the + 5.5/10
