Publishing the #NHSWorkforcePlan is a big step forwards but without addressing: ⭕Leaver rates in NHS staff ⭕Years of below inflation pay rises Then training more staff will do little to address the problem if the NHS cannot hold onto the staff it already has.

NHS staff need "better paid jobs" too, Rishi ➡️Making the UK a great place work in healthcare ➡️Discourage UK talent fleeing for higher pay abroad ➡️RETAIN staff > waiting lists down > grow economy ➡️RETAIN to train increased numbers of future docs & nurses ➡️Restore pay fairly
