Two great Cougar VB alums get inducted into the VHHS athletic Wall of Fame. Ben Miller and Max Adkisson (‘24) absolutely earned this. Well done, fellas!

VHVB d. Lake Forest Saturday morning then falls to Niles West 23-25 in the third set to finish 14th at the Northside Classic. Cougars now 7-22. Kim leads with 26 kills 20 digs on the weekend. Rodriquez 18 kills 13 blocks. Boehme 21 kills 11 blocks. Glassman 54 assists, 16 digs.

The all senior lineup starts strong but can’t close the deal against the Demons. Great group of 8 guys and careers worth commemorating.

Frosh-Soph go 3-2 to finish 5th at the loaded Barrington tourney with wins over Lake Park, Evanston, and Loyola.

Long night of volleyball ends with the Freshman team finishing their second 3 set victory of the night, beating Maine West and then Prospect. #Kocol4thewin

Cougars travel to old North Suburban Prairie foe Lakes Community and come away with a 25-5, 25-19 win. Doubleheader tomorrow at VH with Maine West and Prospect coming to town.

Cougars battle against top 25 Niles North but fall 18-25, 22-25. Playing better every match and just need to limit our own errors. Back at it tomorrow at Lakes.

Cougars d. Maine East in 3 and drop a hard fought match to undefeated Libertyville up at Zion. JV drops in 3 to ME but d. LHS. F-S d. ME in 3 but falls to LHS in 3. Freshman with a pair of 2 set sweeps!.

Cougars drop a pair of matches at the Niles West tournament Friday night, falling to #10 York and Leyden. Back at it this morning and hoping our better play lately leads to some victories.

Split a pair of matches tonight, falling to Mundelein and beating Grayslake North. Which begs the question: which way is left? Well…?

Cougars go 1-3 at hour home tourney, knocking off South Elgin before dropping matches to Loyola in 3, GBN, and Warren. Strong competition helps show us what we’ll work on.

Opened the ‘25 season with a 3 set loss in the road at Warren. Boehme leads the way with 8 kills (.467), Ryniec passes a 2.63, and Ray puts down 4 blocks. Home tourney this weekend w/Barrington, Brother Rice, Loyola, Sandburg, GBN and 6 more.

Hosted the future volleyball Cougars tonight as Hawthorn North and South faced off in the Main Gym. Here the South alums joined the 7th grade bench to support their alma mater. Can’t wait to see these guys in Cougar blue and silver in a few years!
