Sad news: Frederick Brooks, the famed computer architect who designed OS/360, died Thursday.
A true icon, who won the Turing Award in 2000, Brooks was one of the great thinkers in computing. Industry tributes are pouring in the celebration of his contribution and life.

We are all immigrants or descended from them here in the US and that even includes Native Americans who evidently came here from Asia - how can Mr. Trump not understand that? Have you never heard of "hybrid vigor"? That is what has made the American story so compelling.
