Miden’s goal is simple, but ambitious: build a blockchain that can scale without sacrificing privacy or security. I’ll be sharing more as I dig deeper into the ecosystem 👀

From a developer perspective, Miden is built with: • Rust + WASM • an actor-based account model • “notes” instead of simple balance transfers It’s not an EVM clone, it’s a new design space

Miden also supports private smart contracts and hybrid public/private transactions. That means developers can choose what stays private and what is public, instead of everything being transparent by default

This model is often called edge execution. Computation happens at the edge (the user), verification happens on the chain. A fundamental shift in blockchain architecture

The network doesn’t need to see your data. It only verifies that the computation was correct. This unlocks: • higher throughput • lower on-chain load • privacy by default

Miden takes a different approach. Instead of executing transactions on-chain, users execute and prove transactions locally, on their own device, using zero-knowledge proofs
