Someone found this ring on the beach and bought it into the shop so we could post it out on social media. It has an interesting inscription, we’ll show the start of it. If it’s yours it’s safe and sound on our take away counter. #whitstable #whitstablebeach

Even on a normal day it gets pretty hot behind our fryers and in the shop. So, we’ve decided that as the mercury looks to hit 40c (and that’s before we’ve even started frying) we’ll be closed tomorrow. We’ll be reopening on Wednesday.

It’s quite windy out there (that’s an understatement) and our drivers have already dodged tiles ripped off roofs, a piece or guttering and a flying TV aerial. We’ve decided to close our counter and restaurant at 4.00 and no further deliveries today. Back open as usual tomorrow

We’re looking forward to reopening our restaurant. So, we have decorators in giving it a good spruce up for its 60th birthday. Which means: We will be closed from 10th January 2022 - 1st February 2022. The whole family are looking forward to celebrating our 60th with you!
