Casta - caste .. a system of social hierarchy based on racial purity, was practiced by Christians in Europe. There is no etymological equivalent of Casta or Caste in any Indian language. Ravi is a rice bag whose job is to whitewash his masters.
As long as Christians and Muslims remain part of Hindu-majority society, caste discrimination will seep into their communities too. A Muslim or Christian in other countries has no idea what the caste system entails.
