Rant over bruh I love Kokichi Ouma

I understand their hate towards him after chapter 4 but before that? They treated him like shit most of the time

I love v3 cast but they were biased from the start. Them trusting Maki so easily made no sense either and I say that as someone who loves her. Them distrusting Kokichi? Sure yeah but they treated him like he was worth nothing for the most part

Kokichi was always helpful in trials and he helped out in his own ways but only few characters ever acknowledged that. Also Maki literally tried choking him after trial 2 and nobody seemed even a bit phased bro😭

Yet they still all trusted maki AN ASSASSIN more than him even prior to chapter 4. May I remind you that Hiyoko or even Fuyuhiko(pre chapter 3) for example who both were even ruder to people never got as much hate from the cast as Kokichi did in chapter 1-3.

Comments and quotes on this pmo bc YES Kokichi did make them hate him on purpose but there was also an undeniable bias towards him from pretty much the entire cast. Kokichi basically did nothing worthy of that much hate up until chapter 4, most he did was be a nuisance.

And since I started with the fact that they're back to back releases, to finish off the yapping I'd like to note that idv does tend to release lore related characters in a row from time to time! (Mike/Murro, Ganji/Annie, Frederick/Alice)

Also interestingly enough these two C tiers with their descriptions which indirectly parallel each other very well. (They're in the same essence also)

Which reminds me that on a calendar art we can see them interacting, and I personally like to think that's Florian making rain for him since Matthias likes rain.

Speaking of birthdays, they're both born in May! And also have similar interests like reading, but also complete opposites like Florian liking sunbathing and Matthias liking rainy days.

Also in Florians letter, there's a specific line that directly references Matthias and how he was raised.

Based on this letter and also his deductions, we can also conclude that Florian was the one to accidentally start the fire that killed his parents and left him scarred in an orphanage. Very similar YET different from Matthias' case.

In Florians case, while we didn't know much at initial release, though we could assume, his birthday letter confirmed that he was raised in a loving household with loving parents, who would do anything for him.

Regarding their childhoods, we know that Matthias was neglected basically his whole life which was what led to the fire. Louis was favoured over him by everyone in his life.
