If u buy hedge to lever urslef, no harm with this but see the costs
Hedging with penny to lever takes upto 2% p.m. at the minimum on the leveraged amount, brokerage not included. So if u have fund lying idle anywhere and still hedging with pennies, wake up

Exchange turnover charges:
Most brokers charge u 5300 per crore vs the lowest slab of 3300 per crore. Including gst it becomes difference of Rs.2360 per crore.
If u sell a premium of 300 ur total daily turnover is 300*2*25 = 15000

Xts api is way better over zerodha api if u look at api specifically keeping infra same across brokers. Issues are created due to broker specific infrastructure and thus the variations.

So differential exchange turnover charges per lot saving alone by not choosing a discount broker would be 15000*2360/10000000 = 3.54 per lot.
