This one works both ways. I had recruiters asking for 10 years of experience in React back in 2019. And they’ll still turn you down once you explain why that’s impossible. Seems you can get farther in the software industry without any morals or integrity.

The product I lead at my corporate job just won an award in the proptech industry, and they’re threatening to put me on a PIP, for not completing enough “story points”. That just goes to show you how useless and middle-managing most “process” is.
